This shelter relies heavily on donations both regular - by standing order etc - and irregular by point of donation at the time, and by contributions for work carried out by the vets at the owners request. Sterilisations cost around a thousand rupees and owners should feel the responsibility of that cost, but any contribution is also welcome.

The shelter also can vaccinate against rabies, and all the regular innoculations that cats and dogs need, but remember they also cost money, as do operations and medical services so please bear that in mind when seeking help from us.

We are also reliant on government and local authority contributions that are regulated.

All are equally important and we and the animals are eternally grateful for any contributions to the centre that are made.

What to do if you want to donate money on a regular basis like a standing order -

You will need to talk to the Shelter about what your plan is and we can then give you the necessary information in order to achieve your objectives.  You will receive notification on this site that your contribution has and is being received but only your initials will be mentioned publicly.  This is to ensure that you are comfortable with the process, it is not a necessity, if you wish it so.

What to do if you want to donate money direct to the Shelter -

There is a donations box at the shelter on the wall feel free to drop money into the box.  There are also a number of satellite drop boxes at nominated places and peoples homes so feel free to drop money into those.

If you wish to give money to the capture teams or any representative of the Shelter then please ask for a receipt or if unable to do so take a photo of the person you gave the money to and how much and notify us by email, if possible get their name , if they do not give their name then do not give them the money, contact us by email and we will come and get it......thank you.

We can also recognise your generosity by name on the site in our Donations Notification Table found on this page.  Please allow a day or two to see your name come up........thank you so much.

We would ask all cash donators to be responsible about giving money without verifying its arrival at the Shelter so please be careful.

If of course you would wish to donate a large sum,, that would also be very acceptable, and Fund Raising is an excellent way of raising substantial funds in one night.  We always have projects in progress that can sometimes be very costly, like:

Operating theatre equipment - ECG's, gas, anaesthetics, autoclaves, surgical tools and implements etc

Incinerators, diesel driven pumps and hoses

Computers

CCTV Equipment

Generators

Fuel and oil

Water purifiers
